Think and Discuss Problem
Explain
The term cross multiplying can be helpful to multiple proportions because it helps you more. It helps you because when you multiply the numerator of the ratio with the other ratio numerator it helps you find if the ratios are proportional or non
-proportional ratio.

Describe
2/3 = x/12 ; 2x = 36 ; x = 18
What they did wrong in these proportion is that they multiply 3 * 12 equals 36. Then they wrote 2x = 36.Last they divided 36 ÷ 2 which equals 18.So x = 18.

Show
Solve these problem 6/45 = 2/15. First, multiply 45 * 2 equals 90. Second, multiply 15 * 6 equals 90. Last they are proportional.
